Boys Will Be Boys II

This afternoon Dad, Gus and Beedle headed out to the local baseball park to hold a little batting practice. In Gus' Easter basket was a pack of 12 baseballs. Since then he's been begging to go hit. Although a bit muddy, today seemed like a great day to take a few cuts. Gus and Beedle took turns at bat. They had a great time and were very supportive of each other. Team Chopin had a lot of fun. Especially Dad. When Gus and Beedle were babies and being rocked to sleep, I could envision those times where we'd get to throw the football, go hiking or hit some baseballs. I must admit, it was better than I imagined! And it won't be long until James is in on the fun too!

Carey, awesome. It is so good that you have this chronicled on your blog. You are such a great Dad. Your boys (and Gracie) will grow up with such great memories of your times spent together. As you look back over the years you will remember each and everyone of these things and they will become even more special and treasured. As I prepare to see my son, Bryan be married on Sunday, I keep hearing the song, "Good Morning Yesterday", roll through my head. Always remember the times of your life. May God continue to richly bless you and your family. Love you guys, Uncle Garland
