Ah....The sweet smells of the ballpark! Freshly cut grass. Roasted peanuts. Burgers grilling. That's what awaited us as we went to the Ragin Cajuns baseball game tonight. The kids really enjoy going to games. It's exciting, but they know they'll get candy. Whatever motivation was needed, we made it there. And what a night for the Cajuns! With a seven-run first inning putting it away early, the Cajun tacked on some insurance runs and secured a 13-0 drubbing of Texas Southern. The kiddos rooted for their Cajuns.

They took part in all of the traditional UL game cheers. Their personal favorites involved Homer Simpson saying "Doh" and "Woo-hoo". Even James learned to say "Go" or "Geaux"! All in all, it was a great family night! We look forward to the next game to cheer on our Cajuns!
