What a spirited day. All of the kids were happy to have BJ back for the year and Beedle was ecstatic to have Eeah with us now too. He wanted to hold her and play with "his" babies. We jumped into our daily routine with the six kids and it went fairly well. We are going to have to give everyone a couple of consistent weeks to know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised that Eeah and James sat in on flashcards this morning. They were very cooperative.

After our fruit snack this morning I put the two little ones down for a nap and the rest of us did our botany lesson. Although we were spared the direct path of the storm we still received too much rain to go outside:( Instead we sketched and journaled the flowers that Dado brought home for Mom last week:) (that is what you call turning a frown upside down;) I was again pleased that Gracie and BJ were cooperative with this assignment. I know that it will be a great school year with our friends.
