Food & Entertainment
Cindy always does such a great job of making learning fun.....and tasty! When she is teaching, especially religion, she finds delightful ways to help the kids remember what she's teaching, and, at the same time, satisfy their cravings for creativity and good food. Here are a few of her recent projects over the last month...
Cindy taught about the story of Creation....
They made octopus cupcakes with lolipops and gummy worms...
She mde them fruit trees for an afternoon snack...
And my favorite, owl cupcakes...
She does such a great job inspiring creativity.

Cinco De Mayo!
Los Ardoins came over tonight to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with us. Senora Cindy did a bueno job of decorating with sombrero platters, maracas and a Mexican blanket. We had tacos and tortillia soup to get our bellies festive. As evening approached we let los ninos & la nina entertain themselves with a Mexican celebration tradition--the pinata. We hung it from the basketball goal and los ninos & la nina took a swing at it. We did our best to keep the others away from the glancing blows of a blindfolded child violently swinging a baseball bat.

Everyone got a chance to take a few whacks at it. The last one to go, Gus, delivered the final shot. Ole! Candy for everyone!
