One of our favorite family-time activities when the weather gets cooler is to huddle around the outdoor fire pit. This evening, it wasn't exactly an artic blast (as you can tell by our shorts), but it was cool enough to enjoy being outside. Tonight's activity--hotdogs and Packers on Monday night football. 
We got them set up with their own roasters and they did the rest. After baths, it was time to get ready for the game. Go Pack!
We celebrated the birthday of our Immaculate Mother Mary by having a birthday party at our house. The Dupuys came by for BBQ and fun. Happy Birthday Mary and thank you for saying "Yes" to our Lord! 
We spent the Labor Day holiday weekend very busy. From yard work to kids' day at Acadiana Religious, to the LSU game and the Bayards coming over, to having Fr. B over for Sunday BBQ, to joining our friends in Abbeville for Pizza. What more could we possibly squeeze in? Well, since we get an extra day, Labor Day, we decided to take a trip to the Audobon Zoo in New Orleans. We went a few weeks back and were sidetracked by rain. The forecast looked fabulous so we brought GiGi along to bring our animals to meet their animals.
